A musculoskeletal rehabilitation program is designed to lengthen, stabilise and strengthen the joints and muscular system to recover from injury, to assist in pre and post surgical outcomes and to correct postural stress that can cause injury.

For those with a permanent disability, where that disability impacts daily activities, Active Matters provides Exercise Physiology services to help NDIS participants meet their goals. Exercise Physiology services can be funded through Capacity Building Supports (Improved Daily Living) as well as (Improved Health and Wellbeing).

Medicare Rebates
Did you know that most health insurers now pay a benefit for services provided by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?
We are also able to work with patients through Medicare, NDIS, DVA and Workcover. Usually a referral from your medical practitioner is necessary in order to gain these rebates.

Allied Health Clinic
With a collaboration between our exercise physiologists at Active Matters and the expert physiotherapists at Effectus Physio, our clinic provides the most comprehensive evaluations and works in coordination towards a common goal for our clients.
We can also provide our service at your home, office or sports club if required.
