Robbie Brokenshire

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Robbie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, completing both a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Newcastle and a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Queensland.

Robbie is passionate about improving people’s quality of life through helping achieve their health and fitness goals. He has a keen interest in cancer, metabolic diseases and disability.

Robbie was diagnosed with type one diabetes at the age 20 years and has found exercise integral in managing his diabetes. Robbie has a background in disability, which has not only enhanced with his exercise prescription, but has also assisted with his ability to promote behaviour change and skill development

Shaun Edwards

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Shaun is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, graduating from the University of Queensland in 2018 with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercises Physiology.

During his degree, Shaun developed a keen interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, cardiac and metabolic conditions, and has had valuable experience already working in these fields through his studies. As a practitioner, his underlying goal is to achieve long-term success for those he works with, by fostering confidence, consistency and ultimately a feeling of self-reliance.

Outside of the clinic Shaun is a keen indoor football player, and has found that this translates very well to an ongoing interest in athletic performance and injury prevention for athletes of any level.

All of our Exercise Physiologists are accredited with the Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). For more information about Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP's) and their professional standards, check out the ESSA website.
